The Record
$89 · twelve pages and a colophon
A complete account of the chart you were born under.
Four traditions, computed independently and read against one another, set as a document you keep. The Record is descriptive from the first page to the last. It tells you what you are. It does not tell you what to do about it — that is the next tier, and we would rather draw the line clearly than blur it to make this page sound bigger.
Most people have never seen their own chart set properly. They have seen an app screenshot, or a wheel with no aspect lines, or a paragraph about their Sun sign that would apply to a twelfth of the world.
The Record is the corrective. It opens by showing its working — the coordinates, the time zone actually in force in that year, the house system, the ayanamsa, the ephemeris — because a document that asks you to take it seriously should be checkable before it is persuasive. Then it reads the chart: the luminaries, the wound, the nodal axis, the elemental supply line from the Chinese system, your year animal read as a pillar rather than as a horoscope, and the map of your own planetary lines across the earth.
It ends where description honestly ends. Synthesis, then the whole thing again in plain language, then instructions for how to use it.
Contents, page by page
- Cover — Your name, your birth data, your coordinates and time zone, and your full natal wheel in gilt on ink.
- One · The Facts of Your Birth — Date, time, place, set as three cards. Then the table: coordinates, the time zone actually in force that year, house system, ayanamsa, ephemeris.
- Two · The Natal Wheel — The full wheel with aspect lines. A fifteen-row placements table. Your element and modality balance as bars.
- Three · Sun, Ascendant, Moon — Three cards and three readings. What you are, how you arrive, and the private weather.
- Four · Chiron — The position, the wound, the shape it left, and the competence it produced.
- Five · The Nodal Axis — The South Node as fluency: the thing you are already too good at. The North Node as assignment: the thing you are not.
- Six · The Four Pillars — Your BaZi chart with the day pillar in gilt. The solar term, the pillar string, the day master.
- Seven · The Day Master — Five-element balance in per cent. Strength, seasonal phase, and which elements are favourable, which drain you, and which are absent entirely.
- Eight · The Animal and the Element — Your year pillar read properly, then cross-read against the Western chart.
- Nine · Natal Geography — A world map of your planetary lines with a legend, your five strongest, and their orbs.
- Ten · Synthesis — Where the four traditions agree. Then, at equal length, where they argue.
- Eleven · In Plain Language — The whole document with no technical vocabulary, and then how to use it.
- Colophon — How the document was computed, and the line about what this is not.
Who it is for
The Record suits you if you want the chart itself, accurately and beautifully, and you would rather draw your own conclusions. It also suits you as a first commission: if you later want the counsel, the upgrade to The Commission is $40 and you receive a document whose first twelve pages are the ones you already have. It reads as a continuation, not a second purchase.
